This fellow is being kept in hideously cramped and unhygienic quarters at Crocolandia, a zoo-like establishment in Talisay City, Cebu. Animal rights is not a prominent issue in the Philippines. Fortunately, the ostriches at Bigfoot in Mactan and Binghay Marine Park in Balamban are treated much better.
